Tyeann was ready to start a new school this year since the new elementary was built right next to our home but with the new living arrangement it meant that she would start at Speegleville(MISD) and would find herself among many awaiting friendships.

Anything for a Daughter?
I'm scared of heights and figured that my 8yr old would soon forget ..... ah yeah don't think so! Daddy how about you-it's your little girl? but when Daddy says no he means no- ah back to mommy and you know us, we can't break our daughters heart! Oh again, I'm completely scared of heights so I had to look for a reinforcement-Grandpa!
so here we go up, up, up! notice my eyes! we all lived and I would have to say my heart did stop right before pulling the rip cord! I also felt pretty sorry for the person who was to wear this suit thing after me since I completely sweated it out!!!! Sure do love you Tyeann! and thank you Grandpa!

MY 1st TRIATHLON
July 26, 2009 Tri-Waco......
Getting my head into the game and a little protein from my finger nail.
I'm in the third heat and the wait made me a little nervous.
Here I come out of the water, better hydrated for the bike and look there's a pink cap person behind me who left in the heat before me- Love photo's
My next goal is learning how to leave my clip shoes in the peddles so I can really run to the bike course!
Ah, here I am leaving the transition area after the bike ride- again, LOVE photo's cause look at the bike racks......where are all of the bikes??.....must mean I'm ahead of the game.....
I thought I would miss my ipod while running but figured I would have some running company-oh well guess I was wrong
I had to post this one of my father because of the story behind it- We flew him in from Seattle cause I wanted my father to cheer me on for my first and the story is.....he needed a coffee so bad that he missed my swim to bike transition-I guess he thought I wouldn't be that fast...that's OK cause as I was coming in from the bike I saw him cheering me on with his coffee in hand-that's my Dad!
